Rob Luther serves as Associate Counsel to the President of the United States. Prior to joining the White House Counsel’s Office, he served as Counsel to Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he advised the former Senator on judicial nominations and constitutional law matters. Before joining the Committee, he completed a two-year clerkship with Judge Daniel A. Manion of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Prior to his clerkship, Rob was appointed to the faculty of William & Mary Law School, where he taught civil and appellate practice as an Adjunct Professor of Law, and practiced civil, constitutional, and appellate litigation at a boutique firm in Williamsburg, Virginia. Before entering private practice, Rob served as a Constitutional Litigation Fellow with the Pacific Legal Foundation. He was recently selected as a James Madison Fellow by the Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College and as a Lincoln Fellow by the Claremont Institute.
